Business Manager – Online Marketplace Team
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Manager to join our Online Marketplace team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving online growth, managing key brand accounts, and fostering business expansion in a fast-paced, competitive environment. You will play a pivotal role in achieving business targets, cultivating strong relationships with channel partners, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to drive the success of our online marketplace presence.
Key Responsibilities:

- Online Growth & Strategy:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive growth across multiple online marketplaces.
- Identify opportunities for growth through optimization of product listings, content strategies, and marketplace-specific promotions.
- Monitor and analyze marketplace trends to stay ahead of the competition, leveraging data to inform decision-making.
- Account Management:
- Manage day-to-day relationships with existing channel partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and growth.
- Collaborate with channel partners to ensure their products are well-represented, marketed effectively, and reach the right target audiences.
- Business Growth:
- Lead efforts to expand the business with both existing and new brands, driving revenue and market share growth.
- Track and meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets, ensuring the achievement of sales and growth objectives.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams & Channel Partners:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the online marketplace team and other internal departments, ensuring seamless communication and project alignment.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and logistics teams to enhance the marketplace experience.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with external channel partners to drive platform success.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Regularly assess the performance of brands and products on the marketplace, providing reports and recommendations for optimization.
- Use data and analytics to track progress against targets and adjust strategies as needed to meet business goals.
- Ensure timely reporting to senior management on business performance, opportunities, and challenges.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 4-6 years of experience in business management, account management, or e-commerce roles, with a focus on online marketplaces.
- Proven track record of driving growth and achieving targets in a competitive online marketplace environment.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce, online marketplace dynamics (e.g., Amazon, Myntra, etc.), and digital marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with large-scale e-commerce platforms and managing brand partnerships.
- Familiarity with marketplace tools and performance analytics platforms.
